“Eine neue Art der Gattung Aegus Mac Leay, 1819 von Nord-Borneo (Sabah), zwei neue Arten der Gattung Dorcus Mac Leay, 1819 von China (Guangxi) und Indonesien (Insel Manipa), eine neue Art und drei neue Unterarten der Gattung Lucanus Scopoli, 1763 von China (Yunnan und Fujian) und Indien (Arunachal Pradesh), eine neue Art der Gattung Macrodorcas Motschulsky, 1861 von China (Shaanxi) sowie eine neue Art und eine neue Unterart der Gattung Neolucanus Thomson, 1862 von China (Shaanxi ) und Nord-Indien (Arunachal Pradesh) werden beschrieben. Der Holotypus von Aegus nayani spec. nov., Dorcus hansi spec. nov., Dorcus kirchneri spec. nov., Lucanus angusticornis inclinatus sspec. nov., Lucanus fryi schepanskii sspec. nov., Lucanus nyishwini bretschneideri sspec. nov., Lucanus fujianensis spec. nov., Macrodorcas taibaishanensis spec. nov., Neolucanus lanwanorum rudolphi sspec. nov. und Neolucanus shaanxiensis spec. nov. werden abgebildet und mit den verwandten Arten verglichen.”

“A new species of the genus Aegus Mac Leay, 1819 from northern Borneo (Sabah), two new species of the genus Dorcus Mac Leay, 1819 from China (Guangxi) andIndonesia (Manipa island), a new species and three new subspecies of the genus Lucanus Scopoli, 1763 from China (Yunnan and Fujian) and India (Arunachal Pradesh), a new species of the genus Macrodorcas Motschulsky, 1861 from China (Shaanxi), a new species and a new subspecies of the genus Neolucanus Thomson, 1862 from China (Shaanxi) and northern India (Arunachal Pradesh) are described. The holotypes of Aegus nayani spec. nov., Dorcus hansi spec. nov., Dorcus kirchneri spec. nov., Lucanus angusticornis inclinatus sspec. nov., Lucanus fryi schepanskii sspec. nov., Lucanus nyishwini bretschneideri sspec. nov., Lucanus fujianensis spec. nov., Macrodorcas taibaishanensis spec. nov.
